Okay, one thing I always notice at a resort, is the scent of the lobby. I love a lobby that smells good! At Sandals Dunn’s, take a deep breath and inhale the salty breeze from the Caribbean Sea as it mingles with the amazing flora landscaping this luxury resort. Hibiscus, roses, and lemongrass will welcome you to begin your vacation and forget about work and stress.
Taste: A feast for the Palate
Celebrate the flavors of Jamaica at one of the 12 restaurants. I can honestly say we had some very good meals at Sandals Dunn’s River! You can start your day with blue mountain coffee at their gorgeous Blum Cafe. I loved this cafe so much, I went there many times just to find a quiet space and be surrounded by flowers. Plus, the guest services team inside were all so friendly and welcoming!
For dinner, I would say that the soul at L’Amande, the French restaurant, was my favorite. But, they were all very good! I also really enjoyed the jerk chicken … and I am typically not a jerk chicken fan. They give you a lot though, so you might consider sharing a plate.
Touch: The Feel of Relaxation
Soft sand beneath your feet, cool water wrapping around your body as you go for a dip one one of several pools. You may want to opt for a room that has it’s own swim out pool. After a day of swimming, treat yourself to a Caribbean massage infused with essential oils at Red Lane Spa.
